The Beginning

Down Under, Up Over is a project developed by David Foley, Ginger Crockett and Angie Alston in the Spring of 2010.

The idea was to have a long distance, learning experience for Alaskan and Australian students.  The students interact through VTCs and online.

As the project developed, teachers became interested to involve their classes.  There are six schools presently participating.  The Australian schools are Peak Hill Central School, Baradine Central School and Delroy High School.  The Alaskan schools are Jr. High schools in Brevig Mission, Shishmaref and Unalakleet.
